We need a Human Resources Generalist specializing in Recruitment to join our REMOTE TEAM.

We are looking for a motivated, creative, highly technically skilled individual with excellent time management skills. The successful candidate will be capable of working as a Human Resources Generalist with autonomy and must be excited about challenges and working remotely.

You possess:

  • 5 - 7 years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced recruiting environment.
  • 5 – 7 years of generalist experience including onboarding, policy development/administration, compensation strategies and recommendations based on unique skillsets, creating/updating job descriptions, benefit administration, ideally in Canada and United States.
  • The ability to effectively use the entire MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word & PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • The capacity to solve complex challenges within a defined framework and timeline.
  • Outstanding verbal, written English skills. You are a regular, clear, concise, and professional communicator.
  • A knack for building solid relationships; people want to work with you.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and high standards for quality and creativity.
  • Solid time management skills: we don’t believe in micro-managing our people.
  • Sensitivity to confidential matters; maintaining HR records, ensuring compliance with data collection and privacy.
  • Expertise in sourcing, screening, and assessing potential candidates to ensure an effective and efficient recruitment process.

Job Duties:

  • Recruitment activities including job postings, sourcing, interview screening, team interviewing, reference checks, offer letters, and onboarding new employees.
    • Evaluate candidates' technical and soft skills through interviews, assessments, and reference checks.
    • Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process .
    • Assess candidates, discerning areas of key knowledge and skills, and build a pipeline of high-quality candidates .
    • Provide compensation recommendations based on market evaluation and common sense based on unique requirements.
    • Create recruitment strategies improving processes and identifying opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist in developing/maintaining/updating consistent processes, procedures, and employee handbook.
  • Assist with Benefit Administration (US and CDN) programs
