We need a Principal Product Manager to join our REMOTE TEAM

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and technically skilled Principal Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the vision and strategy for products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with market needs. By conducting research and gathering feedback, you prioritize features and communicate progress, delivering products that enhance user value and drive company growth.

You possess:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Product Design, Engineering, Marketing or equivalent
• Asset: Master’s degree in applied science
• Professional designations such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Product Manager (CPM), and Project Management Professional (PMP).
• 10+ years of experience in product management, preferably in public sector accounting or automation.
  • Demonstrated history of successfully launching and managing products at scale.

The perfect will also possess:

• Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
• Experience in delivering finely tuned product marketing strategies
• Action-oriented with a history of executing complex programs independently.
• Familiarity with financial software solutions from our partners such as Workiva, Trintech, Caseware, Blackline, and Questica is an asset.
• Knowledge of tools like Power BI, Gravity, SAP, and Concur Invoice Solutions is also beneficial.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills

Remote Requirements: 

• Private home office to ensure confidentiality.
• High speed internet

Job Duties:

• Lead the strategy, planning, and delivery of public sector solutions to ensure product portfolio success.
• Develop and communicate product positioning, strategy documents, and go-to-market plans that differentiate FHB in the market.
• Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to inform product development and lifecycle strategies.
• Drive the execution of product lifecycle processes, from research and planning to launch and performance evaluation.
• Advocate for client needs through engagement and research, ensuring alignment with product development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and achieve buy-in for solutions.
• Manage internal partnerships to enhance software capabilities and interoperability, while overseeing product lifespan and end-of-life decisions.
